A motorbike ride away from Boudha is Patan. Its original Sanskrit name of Lalitpur (City of Beauty) is a city full of temples, statues and palaces and home to one of the three Durbar Squares. As a traditional center of handicrafts it is the numero uno place to get statues, trinkets and some good eats.
